The annual sports competition of Tanzimul Ummah Hifz Madrasa, Satkhira Branch, under the Annual Sports and Cultural Fortnight 2026, was held successfully on Thursday (January 29) morning at the Satkhira Government College playground.
The event was presided over by A.K.M. Masum Billah, Director of Tanzimul Ummah Foundation and Branch Chairman. The competition was formally inaugurated by the Principal of Satkhira Government College, Professor Abul Hashem, as the chief guest.
The program was conducted by FM Rustam Ali, Assistant of Tanzimul Ummah Hifz Madrasa, Satkhira Branch. The welcome speech was delivered by Hafez Masudur Rahman, Head of the Satkhira Branch of Tanzimul Ummah.
Special guests present at the event included Professor Muntansir Billah, Vice Principal of Satkhira Government College; Jaharul Islam Tutul, District Information Officer of Satkhira; and Abul Hossain, Secondary Education Officer of Satkhira Sadar Upazila.
The sports events were supervised by Md. Habibullah of Tanzimul Ummah Hifz Madrasa. Among others present were responsible officials and teachers of the madrasa, including Md. Ibrahim Khalil, Md. Imdadullah, Md. Jahir Afnan, guardian and prominent businessman Muhammad Rabiul Islam Rabi, Hafez Didarul Islam, along with well-wishers, guardians, and teachers of the Satkhira branch.
A total of 117 participants emerged victorious across 39 events under 13 groups in the competition.
The closing announcement of the annual sports competition was made by Hafez Abu Bakar Siddique, Head of Tanzimul Ummah Hifz Madrasa, Satkhira Branch.
