The event was attended by ambassadors, high commissioners, and diplomats representing various countries and international organizations. According to party leaders, the manifesto was prepared through consultations with people from various social and professional groups, as well as members of the general public. It identifies 26 priority areas aimed at addressing public expectations and reflecting the aspirations associated with the July movement.
Framed around the vision of building “A Safe and Humane Bangladesh” and the slogan “Let Us All Come Together to Build Bangladesh,” the manifesto outlines 10 core commitments, divided equally between affirmative pledges and rejections. The affirmative commitments include integrity, unity, justice, efficiency, and employment, while the rejections focus on corruption, authoritarianism, hegemony, unemployment, and extortion.
